The natural human condition is living in harmony with the environment. No need to think, no need to want. Guided by instinct. Aligned.
BUT
When the environment stopped providing and survival was threatened, we chose to override the cycle and take. Betraying the circle of life by killing to live.
That's the moment. Not metaphor. The actual point we left the natural pattern. From receiving to taking. From gift to seizure.
This started a spiral. Taking requires calculation: what to take, how to get it, where to find it, how to store it, how to defend it. Instinct got replaced by constant thinking. Thinking causes friction. Friction creates lack. Lack generates want. We call this state “consciousness.” Dressed it up as awareness, enlightenment, our special gift—to make “trapped in thinking” sound like achievement instead of problem.
Then we scaled it. Agriculture accelerated everything, overloading earth’s carrying capacity. The endless sprawl of man requires constant destruction to exist. Industrial slaughter, ecological collapse, mass mental illness. This isn’t normal suffering—this is what happens when you force a system beyond its design. Killing for energy. Calling it progress.
A good tree can’t bear rotten fruit. If consciousness was ascension, it wouldn’t produce hell.
